 Way to small of a case. Oct 27, 2011

I purchased this case as I have all the characters currently out and wanted something to store them in.
Looking at the pictures I thought the divider held the portal in the center with 8 pockets around for the 8 elemental character's to go.
WRONG!
The divider is cardboard taped together.
The center divide is 3 1/2 inches diameter and the PS3 portal is 6 inches, and the 3DS portal is 4 inches.
I removed the divider, and the characters I currently have can not fit in this case piled together, let alone the 12 not released.
If your like me and want something to hold everything for convenience, this is not it.

My son loves Skylanders. We are up to 14 of the figures and I started to wonder where I was going to put them when he is not playing the game. I checked out this Zip Case at ToysRUs and thought it looked quite flimsy and he couldn't even get all his figures in. I found a better solution - an ornament storage case like the Christmas Ornament Storage Box by Snapware Corp sold on Amazon. The one we got had 2 trays and held all his figures - including Darklight Crypt and Pirate Seas as well as the pedestal you place the figures on during game play (we folded the cardboard insert to allow this). We have not filled the box, but we can get new trays if we need them. The box is hard, clear plastic and is easy to carry with the attached handle on the lid. I think it will protect the figures better than the soft sided bag. Just an idea!

This one is really small, we could put the original 5 that we purchased into it and when we got up in numbers (now 20) there was no way! And especially since you can buy it for half this price at the Toy Store! We ended up getting a Snap-Ware case with locking lid and handle, it not only holds all Champions we currently have, but the Portal and controlers needed so everything is together and ready. While I would rate the game highly this particular case is just not good.

my nephew loved it, he has a lot of the skylander characters and now he carry them around. item came fast, boxed nicely, was a huge hit... my sister actually came online here to buy another one.

The case itself is cute with the skylander figures print but....the quality of the case is cheap, cheap, cheap. The outside is nice enough flimsy nylon but the inside is just little thin pieces of cardboard that collapses and doesn't keep the figures in place!
