 Nice addition to the Samurai Megazord! Feb 28, 2011

This toy surprised me. I wasn't expecting to get anything but a chunk of plastic, and bought this only for completion's sake, but it turned out pretty good!
The Beetle Zord has a head spinning feature that activates as you roll the toy along the floor. Along with this, it also comes with a nice detailed Green Ranger figure that can be attached to the Zord. Although the Green Ranger is static and stuck in one pose, it is a nice addition to an already good robot.
The real play feature of this toy comes from its ability to combine with the Samurai Megazord, as well as to combine in other interesting future combinations down the line, as more Zords are released. This adds a lot of fun as one can mix and match different Zords to get interesting results.
If there was a negative, it would be that I felt the Beetle legs could be better attached to the body. While it is not entirely floppy, it can still detach a little too easily (although considering detaching the legs is part of the transformation mechanism, this may not be a bad thing).
All in all, a pretty good toy, and I must say that Bandai has upped the ante from previous Power Rangers lines.

nice to have this to add on to my samurai megazord but the dissapointing factor comes in where you can't attatch the beatle legs to the samurai megazord as shown in the show but then again if i wanted that i would of gotten the Shinkenger version of it =P

My son loves all the things Power Ranger. This connects to the Samurai Zord or can be played with seperately.

Purchased as a gift for a young child's growing collection. He is happy with the toy. He is only three and hard on toys but this is holding up to his active play. The item is as I expected it to be and since he is happy with it, I'm quite pleased.
