Pretty decor..... but not sure about the robe stand Sep 14, 2008
By Denali I purchased this set for my daughter's LF Grand Dollhouse. I like the style and decor of the furniture. The quilt on the bed is attached at the bottom so the parents can be placed under the covers. And the chest opens.
However, I was disappointed that it didn't include more... like a chest of drawers and/or a mirror. The robe stand is ok - the mother can wear the robe, but I think it's a waste of space and money. The mom looks a little silly wearing the robe when she is permanently dressed in slacks and a shirt. A child could identify more with a mirror and a chest of drawers.
For this reason, I gave it 3 stars. It's an average doll house addition. Nothing special in my opinion.

One of the more disappointing Loving Family sets... Mar 08, 2011
By G. Secrist Obviously a double bed is necessary in a dollhouse, but this set was disappointing to me. A bed, a trunk, and a robe stand? Seriously? Who even keeps a clothing stand in their bedroom these days? There were just very few pieces in this set compared to others, and I feel it is lacking. Perhaps add a dresser, a standing mirror, a nightstand with a lamp?
My 34 month old daughter is thrilled to even get ONE new addition to her dollhouse, so she's not picky. She plays with this like everything else... but that clothes stand NEVER comes out of the bin of dollhouse stuff in the morning.... it stays there with a few stray pillows and rugs/blankets from various sets. She has no interest.
Fun and durable May 17, 2012
By Alabama Mom My 14 month old daughter loves playing with all her Fisher Price loving family sets. I have a ton! They're all very sturdy and solid and she really enjoys them now that she's not so much at the stage of sticking everything in her mouth. Our dollhouse (not a Loving family one, but handmade - the Loving Family one is way too small for how many sets I have) and Loving Family dolls and furniture are always a big hit when other girls come over to play who are around 5 and 6 years old. What's crazy is even the boys/brothers (3-10) that come to play play with the toys (if it's out and available). I'm not sure why, but they all just seem to think it's fun to play with. Of course, the boys hang the dolls from the roof and crash them into things (unlike the girls) and they're very sturdy, even when brothers get ahold of it. : ) She really likes opening the blanket box and stuffing things inside it. The bathrobe is a little dopey and I wish they'd have put another piece of furniture in instead of it, but my kids like putting the bathrobe on the Mommy anyways, so they're happy.
It is what it is. Apr 27, 2012
By Joe Schmoe reviewer Hard to say too much about this. My 3 year old likes it. It's a little cramped when my wife and I are both in it, but it's a nice addition to the house.
cute set Dec 21, 2011
By karen Would like to have seen a dresser instead of a dress form, but otherwise a cute set. Fits nicely in the doll house made by her great grandfather.
