Just got this shipped to me and I can't even believe what this "toy" does. Aside from the fact that it has some cool interactive driving games, its eyes and mouth light up and the thing talks to you! All I can say is that you have to see it to believe it. Highly recommended (also props to Amazon for the quick shipping).

This thing is nuts. It's got an animated cartoon projection for a face! My 2 tear old thinks it's alive, and he treats it like a pet. Beautifully designed and durably manufactured. The "IT" toy for any Disney's Cars fanatic. The rookie driving lesson is a cute activity. Lightning McQueen calls out directions and provides feedback based on your directional responses. Words can't describe the animation feature, I still can't get over how cool this is.

I thought this would be helpful, before contacting "Santa's Workshop".... I actually purchased this item from the Red Bull's-eye... First one's controller did not work on Christmas morning. Luckily, my 3 year old had fun just pushing it around. Stood in line on the 26th... for the exchange with the elves.... and the new one's controller kept turning it off after about 30 seconds of use. I noticed that the batteries were moving just enough out of contact..causing the remote to turn off. A added a little spongy tape to the back cover of the remote... Everything is now working perfectly. My son loves it and I no longer have to play the exchange game and try to get these toys out of their packaging without hurting myself.

This toy is programmed to shut down for "a few seconds," per the instructions, if you bump it into something too many times. Unfortunately, ours shuts down all together and my child needs to flip the on/switch a few times to get him to work again.
For $50 bucks (of her own money), this sucker is going back to the store. Plus, they really need to put on a switch where you can opt to turn off the voice. It gets annoying after a few minutes.

My son put this on his Christmas list after he saw the advertisement on TV. I bought it for him early so that I don't have to fight with other parent's who are wanting the same thing for their kids in December. I love the fact the box is easy to wrap (not weirdly shaped) and how presentable it is. Very happy.
